APNET - INDIA'S FIRST
KU-BAND TVRO/DTH SYSTEM INSTALLED IN ANDHRA PRADESH BY MCBS
The government of Andhra Pradesh has initiated an Integrated
Satellite Network called APNET (Andhra Pradesh Network), a unique
example of integration of various satellite communication technologies
like VSATs, Ku-band receiving systems, and digital video compression.The
network supports digital data and video broadcast, interactive
distance learning, IP-based voice, queries, and Internet/intranet
applications. For this project, MCBS had set up Ku-band Receive
Only TV (ROT) terminals at 30 primary locations, and nearly
150 subsidiary locations, in addition to supply of 1471 ROT
systems. The project was completed in a record time of three
months.

- DDRS UNITS SUPPLIED TO RESECO-GANDHINAGAR
A unit for Remote Sensing and Communication
Centre was set up in the year 1999 by the Government of Gujarat
in association with Space Applications Centre (ISRO), Ahmedabad
for development of various distance learning, tele-teaching projects,
in Gujarat. The Uplink equipment like Encoders, Modulators, etc.
for the project were supplied by MCBS. So far MCBS has installed
more than 300 terminals for various state government projects,
in Gujarat..
- IGNOU ORDERS MCBS TERMINALS FOR “
GYANDARSHAN” CHANNEL
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
is in the forefront of open learning and distance education in
the country. IGNOU has chosen MCBS for supply of more than 500
dish antenna terminals in the size of 8 ft and 12 ft for its Gyan
Darshan channel. These terminals have been installed at various
IGNOU study centers in India and various other institutions functioning
under the IGNOU platform.
- ORSAC ORDERS MCBS DDRS TERMINALS FOR
“GRAMSAT” PROJECT
A large project named GRAMSAT(ORISSA) was
visualized for the upliftment and development of the state of
Orissa. Based on this, a pilot project for 35 DDRS Systems was
completed by MCBS. Subsequently, 80 systems were installed at
the Block offices . A further expansion of 432 systems at various
gram panchayats in the rural interiors of Orissa has been completed
recently by MCBS. Today, it also maintains the system under annual
maintenance contract for ORSAC.

CCTV SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS FOR IFFCO
UNITS
Complex CCTV systems catering to the unique
needs of plant conditions has been designed and supplied by
MCBS to the various units of IFFCO namely; Aonla, Phulpur, Kalol,
Khandla, etc.The systems consist of Cameras, Zoom Lens, weatherproof/
explosion proof housings & Pan/Tilt units. Infra red lamps
have been used for night- vision in some units.

FIBER OPTIC BASED CCTV SURVEILLANCE
SYSTEM FOR DEFENSE PROJECT
The fiber optic cable based CCTV system for ITR complex has
been installed using the advanced technology available today.
Broadcast grade CCD color camera and bayonet mount lenses have
been used for best quality video, weather proof IP 66 housings
as well as IP 68 pan/tilt unit for 100 % weather protection
of camera and lens. VISILYNX Matrix control system have been
used to control all the functions of cameras, lenses, housings
and pan/tilt units. The video and control signals travel down
the same multimode single fiber cable in different directions
at different wavelength for distribution, processing and monitoring.

CCTV SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM WITH DVR AND
PTZ CONTROL FOR MCF (ISRO) FACILITY
MCBS has secured orders from various MCF
facilities for supply of CCTV Surveillance Systems with DVR
having PTZ Control. The Systems consist of cameras, zoom lens,
weatherproof housings & pan/tilt units with PTZ camera,
connected to DVR having in-build multiplexer. The system enables
to view all the 16 cameras along with PTZ control through telemetry
receiver. The DVR has multiplexer as well as PTZ control capabilities
and real time recording facility for viewing of events.
