  Modern Communication and Broadcast Systems Private Limited, popularly known as MCBS, headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India was instituted in 1985 by professionals and technocrats having engineering experience of more than 20 years from India's pioneering space technology institutions. Since past 18 years, MCBS is in the service of Communication and Broadcast industry.

    MCBS has manufactured, supplied and installed the following major systems :-  
    40,000 DRS/TVRO terminals for TV networking and distance education throughout the country.
Lakhs of Line Amplifiers and Passives are being used by CATV operators all over India.
More than 10,000 CATV Headends for 16-48 channels throughout India.
More than 1000 sets of switching, distribution and processing equipment deployed in various TV      transmission projects of Prasar Bharati all over India. 		 
  MCBS has accomplished more than 80 projects for key customers and organizations in various Infocomm field as listed below:  
    30 projects in Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) field for ISRO, Defence, VSNL, DoT and others.
30 Projects in TV networking and distance education for various Governments namely, Govt. of      A.P., M.P., Orissa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Prasar Bharati and others.
20 Projects for CCTV and Security systems for various Industries.
3 CATV Super Headends for Incable Net, Hathway and RPG Netcom.
5 Digital CATV projects for Hathway in Mumbai, Chennai and New Delhi for Reliance in Mumbai      and Jamnagar, in association with Scientific-Atlanta.
Headends for SAHARA City and Fibre Network for Tata Telecom. 		 
  MCBS is now setting up several National projects for Distance learning, Interactive education and Video conferencing for several key customers like the Government of India's ISRO, Ministry of Education, etc.  
  MCBS has designed and developed set-top boxes for Satellite, Cable and Terrestrial applications under a project of the Ministry of Information Technology.  
  MCBS is a leading manufacturer and supplier of SATCOM & DTH products in India  
    MCBS is a well established brand in CATV, SATCOM and V-SAT industry for the last 20 years.
It has an installed base of more than 40,000 DRS/TVRO/V-SATs.
It has focused its attention on DTH market and has sold more than 15,000 dishes to Zee TV.
MCBS has been approved by Prasar Bharati for its DTH products and is supplying 8,000      antenna and Set-top boxes.
MCBS has a well established infrastructure in India for manufacturing dish antennae and
     Set-top boxes.
MCBS dish antennae are approved by various Govt. organizations namely ISRO, APNET (AP      Govt.), Prasar Bharati, Zee TV.
MCBS has designed and developed Set-top Boxes for cable, Satellite and terrestrial under      financial assistance from the Ministry of ICT, Govt. of India. These are already approved by a      PSRG comprising members of MIT, ISRO and Prasar Bharati.
MCBS has an in-house R&D unit duly recognized by the Dept. of Industrial and Scientific
     Research (DSIR) of the Govt. of India.
MCBS has been working on multiple markets such as CATV, SATCOM, DTH, Satellite      Up/Down links, distance education and others.

  MCBS is an international service provider and distributor for S-A, having marketing tie-ups with many world renowned companies such as Newtec and others.
